Western Europe

John Lloyd (Paris/France)

John Lloyd has more than 20 years of international experience in the logistics and supply chain sector. He started his career in finance, working for Ernst & Young and then Schlumberger, before moving into the logistics sector. He worked in senior executive positions for TDG (now part of Norbert Dentressangle) and Hays Logistics (now part of Kuehne + Nagel) before being appointed Chief Restructuring Officer and then Chairman of the CAT group (automotive logistics).
 
He is now an independent consultant and interim executive specialising in turnarounds and restructuring, mergers and acquisitions and logistics and supply chain management projects. He has many years of international board level experience, and broad international experience in operational, commercial, strategic and financial management in the logistics sector, as well as his consulting experience.

As well as working on mergers and acquisitions he has led several successful assignments in this sector, including:

  • Sale of businesses
  • Managing outsourcing tenders for logistics services
  • Supply chain re-engineering projects in transport and warehousing
  • Project management of the design and start-up of new distribution centres

 
Several turnaround and restructuring missions, covering:

  • Implementation of operational restructuring through a detailed programme of performance improvement initiatives
  • Generation of credible business plans Improvement of financial and cash flow performance through working capital management
  • Financial restructuring through negotiation with lending institutions and shareholders

 
John graduated with a degree in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Birmingham (U.K.) and is also a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Peter Duvåker (Stockholm/Sweden)

Peter is long term experienced from leading positions in the transport and logistic field. This includes sales and business management as well as executive search and sales and acquisitions of companies in Sweden and other countries. He gained valuable knowledge and understanding of demands and challenges involved in companies going through changes in management and ownership. International M & A experience he gained in his company TransLog Business Brokers / Duvåker International.

Peter holds a degree in Foreign Trade.
